Contemporary garden - Hertfordshire

Working with the client we created a complete redesign of the back garden in keeping with their newly renovated extension and interior.

The contemporary look was achieved with simple clean lines in proportion with the building.

A large paved area for entertaining and an existing high cyprus hedge was balanced out with the lawn and surrounding planted areas.

A focal point and destination was provided at the end of the garden by introducing a smaller, informal seating and fire pit area; encouraging a journey through the garden to a different area and viewpoint.

Planting is formal in style and uses rhythm and repetition to create a beautiful design.
